My Journey With Fashion & Style?

My Introduction to Fashion... My mom, truly as Epic Ladi, passed down the spark for fashion and style through DNA. Fashion ignites me; it speaks a language that makes me come alive. When I was younger, I spent time in a few of my mother's fashion classes at FIT. I would also tag along when she shopped for exotic fabrics in the various mosaic fabric stores located in Manhattan’s garment district. Although I don’t know much about patterns or how to create one, and I know vividly what they look like, I know very little about stringing the needle of an industrial sewing machine. Of course, I don’t know how to sew. What I do know, innately, is good quality clothing, and what I do have is a keen sense of style. It’s something that comes naturally to me. Needless to say, I love fashion! Mainly the timeless styling aspects—I’m not big on trends.

Style is a state of mind. Style is timeless. Style is part of our essence and whatever we do to make a statement. Style is being your authentic self and not following trends.

Why This Page Exists

The electric charge that fashion gives inspired me to create this page, a digital look-book where we get to live vicariously through everyday and celebrity styles, which is meant to bring some color to our mundane routine.
