My introduction to the Chanel brand came at a young age through my mother. I vividly remember her perfume, her handbags, and the iconic interlocking C's that captured my attention and sparked my fascination with the brand. These early memories have fostered a deep sense of nostalgia and fondness for Chanel. Even today, I feel a strong nostalgic affinity for the brand, drawn to its simple, understated, yet sophisticated aesthetic. 


Chanel’s timelessness cease to go out of style. This classic French brand continues to emboss an everlasting impression on the fashion world with its unique designs, distinct style, and rich legacy.


Coco Chanel opened her first millinery shop, "Chanel Modes," in Paris, gaining attention for her unique hats before turning to clothing design. Chanel revolutionized women’s fashion by introducing simple, comfortable styles like jersey garments, a fabric previously reserved for men's undergarments. Throughout the 1920s, she broke with tradition, creating timeless pieces such as the "Little Black Dress" (debuted in Vogue in 1926) and the innovative "Chanel Suit" in 1925—a collarless jacket and fitted skirt ensemble that transformed women's workwear and remains iconic today. Coco Chanel not only revolutionized women's fashion by introducing innovative designs, but her influence was so significant that in 1999, Time Magazine named her as the only fashion designer among the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Her legacy is a reminder that breaking the mold, questioning social norms, and being true to your signature sense of style are the most fashionable things a woman can do.

Coco Chanel passed away in 1971, yet her influence endures through the Chanel brand. Karl Lagerfeld became creative director in 1983, honoring Chanel's legacy while modernizing iconic elements like tweed jackets and pearl accessories. Lagerfeld expanded Chanel into haute jewelry and watches, and transformed its fashion shows into major global events, further elevating the brand's reputation and reach.


The one constant about fashion is that it’s constantly changing and evolving. As such, many fashion houses have gone through numerous logo updates over the years to appeal to the changing times. But not Chanel.
